Bella Musica is delighted to warmly welcome the Rock Me Amadeus choir, visiting Ireland for the concert on Saturday 6th May 2023. Founded in 2005, Rock me Amadeus is a mixed choir based in Delft (in The Netherlands). The name derives from the hit Rock me Amadeus by the Austrian singer Falco and refers to the repertoire: music on the cutting edge of classical and pop.
Blending pop and classical
Rock Me Amadeus brings a lively vibe to favourites from Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody to classical hits such as Va pensiero by Verdi.
Concerts
Rock me Amadeus regularly performs at concerts in Delft, and also organises a number of concerts for charity, including singing in various hospitals and nursing homes as part of the ‘Rock me with care’ project.
